White wines are very unusual in Savigny les Beaune, but the white soils (marl, chalk & limestone) at the top of the Marconnet slope convinced Chanson to plant Chardonnay and the resulting wine is spectacular. Floral fragrances mixed with citrus fruit aromas with a delicate oak note. Ample, fresh and fleshy. Long and taut finish with a hazelnut note.
