92/100 | IWC
It always amazes us how these African reds pack so much flavour into the glass. Definitely not for the faint hearted.
Vinted from 36% merlot, 35% cabernet sauvignon, 14% cabernet franc, 10% petit verdot and 5% malbec, this vintage opens with inviting aromas of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum, and a hint of cedar spice. The palate is rich yet refined, offering layers of blackberry, mocha, and subtle oak, supported by fine, velvety tannins. A touch of savoury complexity lingers through a long, polished finish.
