Tasting Notes
100% Syrah from the southern part of Coteaux de l'Ardeche. A gorgeous garnet colour promises plenty and leads to a palate bristling with plush flavours of dark berry fruits, some herbal characters and a backbone of sweet chocolate. This mouthfilling wine is remarkably plush for syrah in the $15-$20 bracket. It finishes smooth and supple with lovely creamy acidity.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromas and flavours of plums and cherry, some softer raspberry scents and an old leather and pepper spice quality. Salami meats and rose, fresh red berries and spices. Dry with an abundance of fine tannins and medium+ acid line. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from 2023 through 2027+"
