92/100 | Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review
Aroha is crafted from the very best parcels of Pinot Noir grown in Craggy Range’s Te Muna Road vineyards in Martinborough. The fruit is hand-harvested and naturally fermented, before being matured in fine French oak to build depth, structure and elegance.
Aroha 2018 is a wonderfully complex wine with layer upon layer of savoury fruits. Aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry and dried herbs unfold alongside hints of spice, earth and subtle oak. The palate is richly textured yet beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity carrying through to a long, refined finish. Bravo.

Stephen Wong MW writes "Pale ruby. Very ripe but with some red fruit alongside the darker tones. More forward and fruity, quite big structure here, firm tannins, chocolate, coffee, the red and blue fruit has a dried edge, verging on ume."
