Produced on the Carribean island of Martinique, Clement Rhum is made from sugarcane using traditional techniques. The rum spends 12 months in oak, giving it those warm nutty / chocolate notes. It's a great mixing rum and brings complex, tasty notes when added to cocktails.
The distributor writes "Aged for 12 months in French oak in the warm climes of Martinique. With age, the aromas are more like hay with a rich and almost chocolaty nose. A sweet, linger finish with hazelnuts and toasted cashews."
