91/100 | James Suckling
A classic expression of good Bordeaux Superior vinted from merlot (90%) and cabernet sauvignon. It's full of dark savoury characters on a palate that blends some tannic structure with spicy oak and a nice, quite plush line of juicier fruits. This is fulsome, rewarding Bordeaux at a very sharp price. Excellent value.

The winery writes "This wine has an intense garnet red colour with purple reflections. With a beautiful aromatic power, the nose opens on notes of ripe fruit that evoke wild blackberry and redcurrant. Beautiful smoky, peppery notes appear and confer a beautiful complexity. On the palate, the mouth presents a solid structure with coated tannins. The mid-palate is fruity, keeping a great freshness and a nice balance. Subtle woody notes with vanilla bean and toasted brioche aromas contribute to a long finish. Can easily be kept for 5 to 8 years."
