Crafted by the iconic M. Chapoutier, a name synonymous with Rhône Valley excellence, the 2022 Les Meysonniers is a masterful expression of Crozes-Hermitage Syrah. Sourced from organically farmed vines aged over 25 years, this wine reflects the terroir of south-facing slopes enriched with clay, gravel, and pebble soils.
The nose bursts with fresh red fruits and ripe blackcurrant, underpinned by a fragrant violet note that is unmistakably syrah. On the palate, it’s generous and rounded, delivering a lush medley of stewed dark berries, delicate spice, and a whisper of vanilla on the lingering finish. This is Rhône Syrah in its purest form. Whether enjoyed now or cellared for added complexity, Les Meysonniers is a must-have for lovers of elegant, expressive reds.
