From one of the oldest houses in the Champagne region, Ruinart Blanc de Blanc is a class act all the way through. Vinted from 100% chardonnay from premium vineyards and with 20 - 25% reserve wines, this is a stunning wine; supple and elegant with lovely rounded mouthfeel and a fresh finish.
In 2021, Ruinart introduced their 'second skin' packaging - a paper cover that is moulded to the shape of the bottle and protects the wine from light strike while also making the product significantly lighter and reducing their carbon footprint.
The winery writes "At first very intense on the nose, with fresh fruit notes, particularly ripe citrus fruits. A second refined floral nose with notes of white flowers and fruits (white peaches, pineapple). A supple, harmonious attack on the palate, very rounded. Vinosity that is not excessive, supported by excellent freshness. Beautiful pale golden yellow color with gentle green reflections, a vibrant, luminous colour. Active effervescence with a persistent release of bubbles."
