Cembra’s Schiava 2024 is sourced from the steep, terraced vineyards of the Valle di Cembra, where vines are painstakingly tended by hand along dramatic slopes supported by kilometres of dry-stone walls. This is classic “heroic viticulture,” shaped by altitude and rugged terrain. Grown high above sea level on volcanic porphyry soils, the wine shows a more refined, mineral expression of schiava. It highlights how a grape often considered simple can reveal real depth and character when driven by site, elevation, and careful attention to quality.
