94 POINTS | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
This is a lovely expression of high quality, dry Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris crafted for the Bostock family by celebrated winemaker Rod McDonald. Layers of lushly framed fruits add weight and texture to this release which overflows with crunchy pear and tangy citrus flavours. An excellent aromatic release from this quality focused producer.
The winery writes "An elegant, aromatic expression of Pinot Gris. Beautiful varietal notes of spiced pear and finely structured to be perfectly adaptable to a wide array of foods."
Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review writes "90 pts. Rich, ripe and fleshy pinot gris with succulent tree fruit, pear, apple, clove and spice flavours. It has an appealingly silken texture and good fruit-weight. Made in an off-dry style with a good fruit-and-acid balance and a subliminal hint of bitterness on the finish."
