GOLD MEDAL | Berline Wine Trophy 2023
93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
92/100 | Mike DeSimone, Wine Enthusiast
This is clean, bright rioja through and through showing notes of ripe red fruits on the palate followed by an elegant, long finish and presented in a distinctive matte frosted bottle. Bring on grilled meats of oily fish dishes and prepare to fall in love. Very food friendly.

The winery writes "Clean, bright, cherry red developing to maroon. On the nose, very intense. Well integrated aromas, sweet barrels and fruits hints. Pleasant entrance on the palate, elegant structure and balance as a whole. Medium - long finish."
Mike DeSimone writes "This dark ruby-colored wine offers aromas of Luxardo cherry and toasted baking spices. It is very spicy at first sip as flavors of clove and mint leaf with a touch of black pepper hit the taste buds, followed by blackberry, cherry and raspberry flavors. Muscular tannins are balanced out by well-integrated acidity that stays around for a while."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A classic bouquet and palate filled with scents and flavours of brooding dark spices, baked blackberry fruits, meats and dried flowers. The scents of coconut and vanilla from American oak along with a chocolate note add complexity and classic styling to this wine. Dry to very dry with fine tannins and plenty of acidity still. A wine best enjoyed from day of purchase through 2026+."
