The name Bilancia (Libra in Italian) came to winemaker Warren Gibson whilst reading his horoscope during a harvest in Italy, and his winemaking philosophy centres on balance, equilibrium and harmony.
Warren & Lorraine share a wealth of winemaking experience between them and this expertise shows, as Bilancia has been producing award winning wines since 1997. This syrah is no exception with aromatic flavours of plum, blackberry and silky, soft tannins. A true beauty from two Hawke's Bay winemaking legends.

The winery writes "The wine shows lifted berry fruits and plums with the underlying, distinctive Hawke’s Bay spice. A great wine for opening on release, the 2025 Syrah is a vibrant, youthful wine and can be enjoyed immediately but it will also continue to
