93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
Alive on the palate and unmistakably Chablis, the B&G Saint Louis Chablis 2023 is a crisp, mineral-driven white that brings instant energy to the glass. Zesty citrus and green apple lead the charge, layered with subtle white florals and that signature flinty edge that makes Chablis so irresistible.
Barton & Guestier, France’s oldest wine house, has been taking wine lovers on a voyage of discovery for over three centuries, and in 2024, the winery proudly celebrated its 300th anniversary, earning the prestigious title of European Winery of the Year from Wine Enthusiast.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A classic bouquet of mineral and white blossoms, a saline and limestone suggestion and aromas of fresh apple and lemon then white peach. Youthful, lively and vibrant. The classic quality continues on the palate presented as a dry wine with medium+ weight, gently creamy with contrasting acidity. Fruit flavours match the bouquet as does the mineral ideas. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2029."
The winery writes "Aromatic nose mixing seductive pear and apricot aromas with delicate mineral notes. Serve with Seafood, or white cheeses."
