4.5 STARS | Michael Cooper.
Showcasing the pure talent and diversity of Winemaker, Simon Waghorn this Late Harvest Chenin Blanc was a huge favourite when we tried it. Weighty with zesty citrus flavours it is the perfect way to finish off a dinner with a cheeseboard or lemon meringue pie.
Michael Cooper writes "The light gold 2013 vintage (4.5*) was grown at Fairhall, hand-harvested and handled without oak. From lightly botrytised grapes, it is a very elegant, delicious wine with a honeyed bouquet and concentrated, vibrant, sweet flavours (124 grams/litre of residual sugar), peachy, honeyed and rich. It's drinking well now."
