93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
A crisp, dry, minerally white originally from Spain, Albarino is THE fashionable choice in seafood restaurants across Europe. Made by one of Marlborough's most iconic producers, Kekerengu Albarino is a NZ take on this European fave. A hit with the staff.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Ripe, fruity and very modern expression led by scents of fresh yellow peach then grapefruit, there’s a light sea spray and mineral seam that gets stronger as the wine opens out in glass. Flavours of fresh stone fruits and meyer lemon, yellow and white flowers, honeysuckle and lemon drink then a seam of salinity is driven through the palate by the acid line. Fruity, ripe and rather delicious, a wine that is very young still and will benefit from cellar time, best drinking from early 2027 through 2031+."
The winery writes "Fresh lively palate, white peach and tropical flavours. Medium body and length with a chalky and minerally finish."
