FIVE STARS 94/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
92/100 'Premium' | Cameron Douglas MS
Excellent pinot gris from a boutique Hawke's Bay producer. Textural and juicy with a lovely plush mid-palate, this is a very user friendly style with good weight and rounded mouthfeel. Recommended.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Wonderfully ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows poached pear, rockmelon, ripe apple, and rich floral aromas, leading to a succulent palate that's beautifully weighted and generously textured, making it deliciously appealing. At its best: now to 2028."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A lovely example with a bouquet of jasmine and honeysuckle, brown pear and golden delicious apple. A lush satin-cream texture on the palate has a natural softness, contrasting acid line and flavours that reflect the bouquet. As the wine opens out in glass a hint of lemon adds the flavours highlighted by the acidity. Just dry, a wine in balance with a decent length and ready to drink from day of purchase through 2027+."
