We loved this one. Vinted from 100% pinot noir this is a soft, quite rich, mouth-filling fizz with some attractive, freshly baked bread flavours. It is a soft-textured wine with a perfect sugar/acid balance that leads to a pleasantly drying finish.

Tasting Notes

The winery writes "The wine shows delicate quince, peach and apricot fruit on the nose, matched with toasted brioche on the palate from the extended (26 month) tirage time. A lower dosage balances with the the fresh acidity, making it a perfect apertitif style of sparkling wine."

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Fantasstic bouquet, complex, detailed, youthful and precise. Aromas of grapefruit, white strawberry and apple. There's a powerful autolysis with fresh brioche and gun-flint, butter croissant then white peach. Equally complex on the palate with a meal, textured mouthfeel. Flavours of citris and white fleshed stone fruits, salivating saline acid line and layers of autolysis effect. A delicious wine still developing complexities as bottle development settles in."
