The exotic Marula tree can only be found on growing across Africa's subequatorial plains and only ripens once a year, at the height of summer. The small, oval shaped fruit ripens to a rich yellow and its white felsh contains more vitamin C than the average orange and is creamy and nutty to taste, with a slight citrus tang.
The Marula fruit is ditilled into a spirit which is then blended with velvety cream. the smooth taste of Amarula is best savoured over ice, preferably with a view.
Fresh, smooth and well-rounded. Full creamy taste with hints of exotic marula fruit, in taste and after. Serve with ice.
