FIVE STARS 95/100 | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
FIVE STARS | Michael Cooper
A top Hawkes Bay vintage has resulted in another superb release of Alpha Domus's flagship Bordeaux blend. The 2015 is a robust blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec from the Bridge Pa Triangle. The wines initial power mellows in the mouth showing elegant and refined structure and the overall result is both balanced and harmonious. An absolute classic in superb form, this is a veritable bargain by flagship Hawkes Bay red standards.

The winery writes "Sweet rounded red plum flavours are complemented by chocolate, spice, savoury olive notes and fine oak tannin. This wine shows sweet fruit, a silken texture and firm structure. Firm tannins and intense fruit flavours will soften and integrate with time."
Bob Campbell MW writes "A blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot and malbec from the Bridge Pa Triangle. An elegant and persistent wine with cassis, blueberry, wood smoke and spicy oak flavours."
