Delightful Central Otago Gris from one of the best winemaking teams in the region. Loaded with lovely spiced apple and pear characters that come balanced with fresh ginger on the finish. Partial fermentation in French oak has added complexity and texture. Great value.
The winery writes "Complex nose of orange, nashi pear, cantaloupe and clover honey, with a spice note of fresh ginger. Palate follows through with apple pie spice and apple blossom perfume, fine linear acidity lending length and focus, and finishing with river stone minerality."
