93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
What a wonderful glass of chenin this is - a world class offering that strikes a brilliant balance between lush fruit and crisp, mouth-watering acidity. The flavours sit somewhere between the refreshing citrus of sauvignon blanc and the roundness of medium-dry riesling, making it a perfect alternate white. We loved it.
Already harmoniously delicious, this wine has the ability to further develop honeyed richness on the palate over the coming 5+ years.

The winery writes "The vintage promises a vibrant stone fruit profile, with notes of citrus, green apple, and hints of tropical fruit, along with a subtly integrated oak backing. The wine carries beautifully onto the palate, showing apricot, ripe lemon and ripe apple notes, with structure and minerality."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "This has always been a fascinating and fun wine to taste and enjoy. Aromas and flavours of fresh and roasted apple, white flowers and packed with mineral-clay and fruit spice. There’s a delicate sea-spray like quality that comes through on the palate as as a salinity, then flavours that reflect the bouquet. Apples and white fleshed fruits, clay and mineral then spice. A delicious wine ready to drink from day of purchase through 2030+."
