Crafted by winemaker Ben Glover, whose distinguished career includes leading roles at Wither Hills, Lindauer, Huntaway and Corbans before dedicating himself full-time to his family’s Zephyr label, this pinot gris showcases premium Marlborough quality. This is chardonnay with real presence. Fresh and expressive, it opens with citrus and lime alongside subtle flinty notes. The palate is beautifully textured, showing stone fruit and gentle savoury complexity, balanced by refreshing acidity and well-integrated oak. A composed, elegant finish gives this wine real presence without feeling heavy. We tasted it, recognised the quality immediately, and jumped at the opportunity.
