After tasting this wine, our team says: This is Elston at its finest. Balance, finesse and refined power remain the hallmarks here. Everything tastes very 'together' and the use of new oak in this barrel fermented wine shows skillful restraint. Suckling's wonderful assessment of this special vintage is a credit to the Te Mata team and this is another Te Mata wine that is an absolute bargain by global standards. Bravo.

Subtle layers of oyster shell, hazelnut, and flintiness add further complexity and intrigue.
