BOLD AND SPICY, OLD VINE ZIN FROM CALIFORNIA'S FAMED LODI SUB-REGION.
Seeing wine of this calibre under $20 is red letter day for any zinfandel fan.
Zinfandel fans will fall hard for this one. The 2024 Clay Creek is a robustly flavoured wine where sun-ripened cherries, blueberries and plums take turns with flavours of milk chocolate and coconut. Subtle accents of pepper and spice sit behind the fat 'Christmas cake' palate tones while notes of vanilla mix with creamy acidity on the finish.
It's a big, fulsome, delicious glass of red and with the price of Californian wines on the rise in the Kiwi market, it's obvious value under $20 on case buys. We know you won't be disappointed.
