Perched 100m above sea level, the vines benefit from warm days and cool nights, building refined structure, fine chalky tannins, and a vibrant line of acidity to keep those generous flavours in check. Aromas of cherries, plums and subtle spice roll seamlessly onto a savoury, dry palate with dark fruit depth and impressive length. A superbly crafted southern Italian red. Generous yet restrained, and exceptional value for money.
