Cameron Douglas MS writes "An excellent wine with a complex bouquet showcasing a purity of fruit first then layers of soil and site ideas, wood and spices from earth and barrel. Youthful on the palate with a gentle tautness, moderately firm texture driven by acidity and tannins, all tempered by fresh red berry fruit flavours. The use of oak is judicious and perfect in its application. Delicious, youthful, fresh and varietal."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's sweetly fruited with spicy nuances, showing dark cherry, dried herb, game, mushroom, and nutmeg aromas on the nose. The palate presents a beautifully rounded mouthfeel, complemented by a supple texture and silky tannins, making it both soothing and highly appealing."
The winery writes "Fine dense structure, with crunchy red fruits and savoury, earthy, meaty undertones. A young wine with elegance, but density of fruit, quite compact and long. It is sure to age gracefully."
