From the celebrated La Madone vineyards, among the most prized sites in Fleurie, this is a pure and elegant expression of 100% Gamay. The name La Reine de l'Arenite pays tribute to the pink, crumbly sandstone soils that lend this wine its delicacy and finesse.
Fragrant and pretty, it opens with a heady perfume of freshly picked irises and peonies, drifting above a vibrant nose of crushed red berries. The palate brims with juicy Morello cherries and ripe strawberries, supported by fine tannins and a refreshing line of acidity. The finish is long, graceful, and beautifully poised.
