An Amontillado of striking depth and elegance, the Escuadrilla is a powerhouse of complexity and finesse from one of Jerez’s most respected producers.
Expect bold aromatics of burnt sugar, roasted nuts, cinnamon and orange peel, woven into a background of smoky old wood and lifted salinity. The nose alone is a masterclass in oxidative ageing – the result of a unique maturation journey that begins with biological ageing under flor, before transitioning to extended oxidative ageing in the historic Bodega Emperatriz Eugenia.
The palate is dry, elegant and powerful, delivering waves of spice, toasted hazelnuts and a long, savoury, mouth-coating finish. Bright amber with golden reflections, this is a wine that balances its robust style with layered sophistication.

The distributor writes "Bright amber colour with golden hints. This complex Amontillado shows intense smooky woods, and nutty aromas, resulting from years of ageing in the bodegas of Jerez. Dry and elegant on the palate, with a long spicy aftertaste."
