From one of the most successful producers in New Zealand, this Sauvignon Blanc is powerful and refined. Bursting with the Marlborough Sauvvy flavours everyone knows and loves this affordable wine is certain to exceed your highest expectations.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A vibrant and distinctive bouquet, classic with fresh white fleshed fruits, citrus and herbaceous drive. Aromas of peaches and gooseberry, green apple and grapefruits flesh. A layer of wet stone minerality adds depth and complexity. Crisp, dry, fruity, salivating, saline and dry on the palate. Flavours reflect the bouquet with a vibrant, tasty finish. Best drinking from 2022 through 2025."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Bright and fresh, it's fabulously aromatic on the noise showing Granny Smith apple, kiwifruit, nectarine and lemon zest aromas, leading to a juicy palate that's lively and flavoursome. Upfront and splendidly appealing."
NZ Wine Rater writes "A fragrant, appealing, nose with depth and complexity showing aromas of white flowers, passionfruit, ripe citrus, coriander and gala apples. Clean, vibrantly fresh and zesty with tangy fruit flavours, some richness enhanced by the soft, creamy texture."
The winery writes "Capturing the essence of Marlborough, this Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of selective parcels from both the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Pungent aromas of fresh herbs and spring blossoms lead into a juicy palate bursting with grapefruit, lemons, and limes. The wine finishes with fresh balanced sherbet-like acidity and mineral flinty tones."
