FOUR STARS | Raymond Chan
FOUR STARS | Wine Guy Review
Proudly walking on the off dry side of the street, this delicious Waipara Riesling is rich, generous, and bursting with bright citrus flavour. Mandarin, lime and a touch of honey merge into a lingering, mouth-watering finish. Perfect for Asian fusion cuisine. You will find yourself reaching for another glass.
The winery writes " This Riesling is rich, generous, and bursting with bright citrus flavour. Mandarin, lime and a touch of honey merge into a lingering, mouth-watering finish."
Raymond Chan writes " Medium-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegant in proportion with a so soft, light, phenolic-textured core of lime and citrus fruits, along with fresh florals, soft toasty notes and tangerine nuances. The mouthfeel is soft with light, underlying acidity, and the wine carries with good linearity to a dry-textured finish. This is an elegantly concentrated, softly textures, medium-dry Riesling with citrus, lime and toasty flavours. Match with Middle Eastern fare over the next 3 years."
