Excellent blanc de noir ( vinted from 100% Pinot Noir but the wine is fermented with very little skin contact - hence the palest salmon colour). It has a rich fruit entry with concentrated flavours of peach and pear leading to a dry finish. This wine is excellent. An instant staff favourite.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Very bright appearance, highly polished with matching bouquet of white fleshed fruits and spice, there’s a whisper of nettles and dried spice, then fresh yellow apple and pear, all surrounded by a light stony mineral quality. Crisp, saline, refreshing, dry and textured, a wine with flavours that reflect the bouquet, a touch of warmth from the alcohol, superfine tannins and a balanced even finish."
