NEW ZEALAND'S FIRST SPARKLING ALBARIÑO!
93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
Meet Pipi - NZ's first sparkling albariño! Named after the mischevious little sausage dog, this wine brings the same spirit: lively, fun and impossible to ignore.
Crafted from Hawke's Bay fruit, Pipi bursts with zesty citrus, juicy stone fruit, and a whisper of salty sea breeze. Carbonated for freshness and clarity, it's crisp, vibrant and utterly moreish.
Pair it with beachside snacks, crayfish rolls, or fish and chips straight from the paper. Dangerously drinkable!

Cameron Douglas MS writes "There's no mistaking the bright, fresh and distinctive bouquet of salty white peach and citrus fruits that reflect both the variety and nod to its northern hemisphere cousins. After the initial rush of mousse and bubbles the flavours of white and yellow stone fruits with a layer of citrus, I am thinking lemon, the gentle residual sweetness is hardly noticeable against the rush of acidity carried by the mousse. Delicious, fresh and ready for summer."
The winery writes "Made from Hawke’s Bay fruit, Pipi is fresh, zesty and sun-soaked, with citrus, stone fruit and a hint of salty sea breeze. Carbonated to keep things clean and vibrant, it’s made for beachside snacks, crayfish rolls, sashimi… or fish and chips straight from the paper. Bright, joyful and dangerously drinkable - one bottle is rarely enough."
