Firkin describe themselves as 'a tad zany and a bit mischievious' and we can see why. Founder Mike Collings has forty years experience in the whisky world and has worked on big names such as Johnnie Walker. But now he's done with being sensible and now devotes his time to making these exciting new creations.
The Firkin Rare brings together the flavours of an Aultmore 2010 whisky with a tawny port in one of their custom casks which sees red fruit, creamy malt and cinnamon spices blend seamlessly together.
