DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL | China Wine & Spirits Awards
FIVE STARS 94/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
92 POINTS | Cameron Douglas MS
18.5 POINTS | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Bold, generously framed McLaren Vale Shiraz from a producer who has raced up our popularity charts. There is plenty of bang for your buck on show and this silky smooth red will fill your mouth with the flavours of South Australia. An absolute winner. Highly recommended.
The winery writes "The balance between richness and tannin, between power and an underlying acid tension and edge, make this red wine almost too drinkable. You could serve this with as much ease alongside an eggplant laska or a barbecued piece of peppered chicken. Don’t be afraid to cellar some of this wine, too. There’s reward ahead."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "From the Epiphany Vineyard this Shiraz a core of black currant and raspberry red fruit aromas, baking and wood spice complexities. Simple, fruity and enticing. Fleshy, fruity and salivating on the palate with a core of dark plums and red berry flavours, raspberry compote and peppery dark spices. Youthful with fine tannins and medium+ acidity , a wine that is fresh, fruity, delicious and redy now."
