Sileni's Grand Reserve range always set the bar when it comes to wines that offer plenty of flavour and complexity, while completely over-delivering on the price point.
The Plateau Pinot Noir is bright and vibrant with lashings of red berry notes on the palate. Silky tannins are on show and a line of acidity on the finish makes this an excellent food wine. Excellent buying.
The winery writes "Complex aromas of berry fruit and sweet florals with dark cherry and berry spice flavours. The palate is rich and lively, with silky tannins. This is a food-friendly style, delicious with rich pastas, slowly roasted meats, duck, or a selection of hard cheeses."
IWC Judges write "Delicate red berries, blended in a very ripe style which is intense with a warming finish."
