Sherwood Estate started as a husband and wife operation in Waipara in the late 1980s and it's evolved into one of the biggest independent wine operations in the country. They focus on making quality wines with an emphasis on environmental stewardship, having become one of the first Waipara wineries to become accredited with Sustainable Winemaking New Zealand.
Their 2022 Estate Riesling is made in a classic Waipara style, with fruity, floral notes on the palate and delicate acidity. A sublime release from this excellent producer.
