FOUR STARS 17.5+/20 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Stone Paddock has an enviable record for over delivery and this lovely rosé wine demonstrates the excellent quality that you can expect from the trusted hands of Jason Stent and his Paritua team at a seriously affordable price point. Flavours and aromas of red currant, cranberry and strawberry gently compliment the crisp acidity which is balanced by a creamy, smooth mouthfeel. It's all class here.
A Merlot dominant blend with a small portion of Cabernet Franc.
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, even, blush pink with depth and a tinge of salmon. This has a richness of flowers on the bouquet, melded with strawberries, red berries and cream. Medium-bodied, dry-ish to taste, aromas of red berries, strawberries interweave melon, rose and cream. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel carried by balanced acidity and a subtle phenolic added texture. This juicy, easy-drinking rose possesses a red fruit core and rose petals on a creamy palate. Serve as an aperitif or match with charcuteries over the next 2 years."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Restrained and elegant, the wine shows ripe strawberry, apricot, dried herb and subtle spice notes, followed by a beautifully rounded palate offering delicate fruit intensity, well supported by fine texture and juicy acidity."
