FIVE STARS 95/100 | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
FIVE STARS | Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
When size truly matters and only the best will do, this Salmanazar (9 litres!) of Paritua Red 2013 is the ultimate showpiece. One of Hawke’s Bay’s finest Bordeaux-style blends, it’s a wine that brings serious quality in spectacular volume.
The 2013 vintage features a beautifully composed blend of 47% merlot, 37% cabernet sauvignon, 14% cabernet franc and 2% malbec. The merlot lays down plush dark berry fruit and silky texture, while the cabernets layer in structure, spice and cellaring power. Mocha and cedar notes from fine oak elevate the experience, gliding across a smooth mid-palate to a long, seamless finish.
This is premium Hawke’s Bay red in grand format — perfect for milestone celebrations, large gatherings or as a jaw-dropping gift for the collector who has everything.

Bob Campbell MW writes "A Merlot-dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense, weighty red with dark berry, Christmas cake, liquorice, dark chocolate, spices and nutty oak flavours. Solidly structured red that promises to age well."
