Casa Santos Alvarinho 2021

Alvarinho is one of Portugal’s most prized white grape varieties (known as albariño in Spain). It produces aromatic, vibrant wines with bright citrus, stone fruit and floral notes, typically supported by lively acidity and a refreshing mineral character.

This medium-bodied, dry expression from Casa Santos is absolutely delicious. In the glass, it shows a lively citrine colour and expressive aromas of tropical fruit with hints of lemon. The palate is beautifully balanced with refreshing acidity and subtle minerality, giving the wine structure, freshness and a long, clean finish.

This is a fantastic seafood wine - think grilled fish, prawns, shellfish or fresh summer salads.
