Big Villa FLAGSHIP Chardonnay 2023 - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Gorgeously styled and enticing, the wine shows golden peach, citrus peel, vanilla and roasted hazelnut aromas on the nose, followed by a richly textured palate offering terrific weight and drive. Brilliantly framed by juicy acidity, finishing impressively long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2029." FIVE STARS 95/100.
Beach House OLD SCHOOL Chardonnay 2022 - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's beautifully expressed on the nose, showing white flesh stone fruit, rockmelon, nougat and roasted cashew aromas, followed by a silky-smooth palate that's succulent and creamy with a sustained textured finish. Comforting and splendidly enjoyable." FIVE STARS 93/100.
Shelter Bay Chardonnay 2022 - "A bright, pale lemon colour with reflections of gold. Grapefruit, lime and fig combine with subtle mineral notes and softer, lees driven aromatics. The palate follows in flavor profile with plenty of citrus and regional stonefruit characters. Layers of creamy acidity bring length and freshness."
Awakohu Chardonnay 2023 - "A rewarding, creamy Hawke's Bay Chardonnay that's packed with ripe citrus and stonefruit flavours, supported with spicy oak notes."
Tietjen Witters GOLD Chardonnay 2022 - The winery writes "Pale yellow gold, this Chardonnay offers tantalising notes of ripe clementine, citrus blossum, and pale macadamia caramel. Integrated oak adds complexity to the core of orange citrus orbs, adding definition and nuttiness. The finish is bright and lingering with an echo of decadent orange almond cake and cream."
