Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "This is magnificently composed and expressed with blackberry, blueberry, toasted spice, game and cedary oak characters on the nose with a charming floral overtone. The palate is plush and flowing, offering outstanding weight and depth, combined with silken texture and polished tannins, making it brilliantly structured and sturdy."

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Fantastic bouquet with a broody, spicy, varietal and fruit centric. Aromas and flavours of dark raspberry and fleshy dark plum, black currant and smoky wood spices beginning with clove then vanilla and bacon. Firm tannins are contrasted by the core of fruit, acidity forms the backbone of a youthful and delicious example. Best drinking from late 2022 through 2030+."

The winery writes "The wine has a floral spicy nose with very sweet ripe fruit elements. The palate has good fruit intensity, sweet tannins and a wonderful freshness in the mouth. The tannins dissolve leaving a lovely perfumed and savoury aftertaste on the finish."
