Man O War has a reputation for generous, mouthfilling wines and this proudly medium Pinot Gris is certainly not shy. Previous vintages have cleaned up in accolades and we expect this vintage to follow. It explodes with sweet flavours of complex spiced stone-fruits with tangy citrus notes adding freshness to the finish. It's quite the showstopper and has developed a huge following in the restaurant trade as a first up / aperitif style. Heavenly.
The winery writes "The 2019 Exiled has a residual sugar of 29 grams per litre and despite a moderate acidity the very low pH gives the wine incredible focus and deliniation. The flavour and aroma profile of fresh stone fruit, citrus and ginger spice which is further enhanced by both fruit tannins and natural carbon dioxide retained from the fermentation creating the ultimate drinking experience."
