Perhaps the most individual and distinctive of Felton Road's single-vineyard Pinot Noirs - possibly because it is sited on a peninsula that is surrounded on three sides of water - Cornish point is always produced in limited volume and remains highly sought after as a consequence. This is understated wine that will benefit from cellar time.
BioGrow Certified Organic.
The winery writes "This is the most grown up Cornish Point yet. It has all the classic components (vibrantly fruited, voluptuous and rounded mouthfeel...), but with a structural complexity we have rarely seen before. Indulgent but serious tannins demand a thoughtful conversation in this 15th rendition. Baritones and altos all in harmony leading to a crescendo of a finish."
