The perfect rosé.
FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit "Beautifully framed by silky texture and bright acidity, finishing long and lively."
We loved this one. For over a century Domaine de La Baume has been producing wines in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon and this delightful blend of grenache and syrah perfectly showcases that region's signature dry rosé style. The previous vintage won gold medals galore, and we expect this next vintage to follow suit.
Fresh and zingy, it has an array of subtle crunchy red fruits on a palate that is underpinned with some mineral hints. And while it finishes with layers of tangy acidity, there are enough juicy hints on the mid-palate to bring this delightful wine together. It's a perfect aperitif or match with salads / shellfish / grilled seafoods. Thoroughly recommended.
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Pristine and delicately expressed, the bouquet shows raspberry, nectarine, crunchy apple and lemon pith notes, leading to a finely flowing palate that's juicy and focused. Beautifully framed by silky texture and bright acidity, finishing long and lively."
The winery writes "An exceptional rosé wine allying freshness and fruity aromas. This will be ideal as an aperitif or with poultry and fish."
