A blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo from 30+ year old vines in the Campo de Borja region, this has always been such a solid release and the 2018 shows the structure and concentration that defies this modest price point. Coto de Hayas is a brilliant anytime red that comes alive with grilled meats or a savoury deli platter. Highly recommended.
Beautifully fruited and fabulously aromatic, the bouquet shows dark fruit, cedar, black olive and dark mushroom notes, followed by a succulent palate that is plump and fleshy. The wine offers terrific fruit intensity, backed by silky texture and rounded mouthfeel. A gorgeous modern rendition of garnacha and tempranillo blend.
