Tasting Notes
This is a dry medium bodied Pinot Gris with exotic floral and stonefruit flavours with savoury honeysuckle elements on a fine, dry-textured palate with plenty of presence. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern fare over the next 3+ years.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Straw yellow and light polished gold hues lead to a bouquet of varietal spicy white fleshed fruits of pears and nectarine laced with a leesy spice and whisper of white pepper. Satin textures touch the palate first with flavours of white fleshed fruits and citrus peel follow. Acidty and overall mouthfeel offer a refreshing youthful expression with complexity and freshness. A decent finish returning to the primary and core flavours first presented."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Pristine and delightfully expressed with Asian pear, subtle spice, rockmelon and jasmine nuances, it's succulent and elegantly flavoursome in the mouth offering excellent fruit purity combined with supple texture and bright acidity, finishing long and refreshing."
