A delicious dessert wine, enriched with blackcurrant jam and damson plum flavours. A sweetness backed up with a rich velevety palate. Worth drinking now as well as cellaring. Dive in.
The winery writes "Dense and brooding notes of black plum and cassis. Coal dust, ground metal and wet earth evoke suggestions of strength and power. The palate delivers on all counts with notes of liquorice, plum jam and heady spirit. The finish is sweet and soft but held together by a tannin matrix which allows the wine to keep its freshness."
