The new boy on the Beaujolias block and working under the close eye of his famed uncle Jean-Marc Burgaud, Alexandre makes very attractive wines that mix traditional winemaking techniques with a more modern attention to detail.
A great candidate to be your ‘house wine’ but consider it for grander occasions too. The wine comes from old vines in the village of Lantignié which is regarded as being the best location for Beaujolais Villages. The wine is made in classical Beaujolais style with the stems retained.

The winery writes "This wine is showing nicely, offering aromas of cherries, berries, smoked meats and sweet soil tones. Medium to full bodied, fleshy and lively, with fine depth at the core and a chassis of powdery tannin."
