Yalumba has been making premium red wine under the Galway name since the 1940s and it is always one of the truly great value Australian wines. It is a classic, traditional Barossa Shiraz - full bodied and brimming with the regions dark berry fruits and Black Forest cake flavours. The 2019 is another outstanding effort from this much loved label. You'll never find a safer bet in this price band. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.

Sam Kim writes "Plump and flavoursome, this tasty shiraz shows dark plum and sweet cherry flavours with nuances of mixed spice, almond and olive. It's delightfully smooth and lingering with bright fruit intensity, making it approachable and immediately drinkable."
The winery writes "Bright ruby in colour with crimson hues. A generous nose of pepper, blackberry, mocha and vanilla, opening further with hints of liquorice, and violets. The savoury palate has plums and sweet spice leading onto lovely soft tannins. "
