PREMIUM SUMMER WINE FROM A SPECIALIST ROSÉ PRODUCER
Summer Sault from Waiana Estate is the sister Rosé blend to Indian Summer. The classic provençal grape, Cinsault is a key component of this unique wine. Cinsault is the primary grape variety used in the vast majority of the very best provençal rosés but it is a rarity in New Zealand. Though currently only a small percentage of this 2018 blend, the Cinsault grapes provide a wonderfully aromatic aspect to this wine. It has a mid palate that teems with red fruit and tangy strawberry flavours and we fully expect this delicious Rosé to be a smash hit with our clients. It comes highly recommended.
Sam Kim writes "It is instantly appealing on the nose showing Gala apple, nectarine, lemon peel and strawberry characters, followed by a beautifully rounded palate that is fleshy and silky. The wine is lively and refreshing with a delightfully long juicy finish. At its best: now to 2020."
